- I LOVE Byron
- My hobbies are historic preservation/restoration and auto racing. I own a blown nitro methane pro mod car. I utilize these interests to support our community by being an active member of the National Historic Preservation Society as well as the Byron Area Historical Society (BAHS) where I hold the office of Treasurer. I also serve as a co-chair for the Battle of Byron committee (BoB) and successfully organized the Annual BoB Car Show in addition to planning a historic tour of homes for the BoB Chili Fest

I was raised in an Air Force family. I attended high school in Great Falls, Montana where I too joined the USAF after graduation. After serving my four year enlistment, I received an honorable discharge and a good conduct medal. Utilizing my GI bill, I attended two years of training in San Antonio, Texas, receiving an Airframe & Power Plant certificate.I moved to Ogden, Utah and continued my education with four years of study at Weber State University, majoring in physics. This is where I met my beautiful bride, Julie.
Moving to Ontario California, working for Lockheed Aircraft, I created the Flight Test & Instrumentation Department. When the Ontario facility closed, I returned to Ogden and for the next four years was a city manager responsible for all city properties and facilities. I worked closely with the Mayor of Ogden and the city council to make substantial and lasting improvements.
Eight years ago, I accepted a position with Support Systems Associates (SSAI), a local engineering company based in Warner Robins. I moved to Byron with Julie and my daughters purchasing a historic home in the downtown area.
I LOVE Byron and intend to spend the rest of my days here working on our beautiful old home and my race car.
